FAQ#

Is Afterlife live?#

Yes. Afterlife is a working MVP Mainnet Beta at afterlife.bet. Public Solana wallets can verify ownership, discover eligible positions, convert them with wallet-signed transactions, play the real-value slot, and request capped automatic USDC payouts. A fixture-based demo is available at test.afterlife.bet.

Is Afterlife only a token-recovery product?#

No. Recovery is the activation moment. Afterlife turns abandoned wallet positions into usable liquidity and a high-intent entry point for crypto products. That can become a low-incremental-cost acquisition and distribution channel for games, entertainment, trading, new-token discovery, and partner experiences. The slot is the first proving ground, not the final category.

Why start with a slot?#

A slot makes the loop immediately understandable: convert an ignored position, see it represented in the experience, take a bounded action, and receive a clear result. It is simple enough to test conversion, personalization, retention, risk controls, reserves, and payouts end to end. Future destinations can include new meme-coin baskets, macro or leveraged positions, additional games, and partner campaigns, each with its own opt-in and risk controls.

Does the demo touch my wallet?#

No. It uses fixed fixture positions and simulation-only ledger credit. No real token or USDC moves.

How does Mainnet Beta conversion work?#

Afterlife first verifies wallet ownership with a text signature that cannot move funds. It then classifies eligible classic SPL positions:

  • DEAD positions use an exact wallet-signed burn-and-close transaction; reconciled rent value, less fee value, becomes credit.
  • SELLABLE positions use an exact-in wallet-signed Jupiter route; finalized reconciled USDC output becomes credit.

Unsupported, stale, unsafe, or conflicting evidence produces no transaction.

Can Afterlife act on any token in my wallet?#

No. Token-2022, NFTs, LP/pool tokens, frozen accounts, wrapped SOL, unknown assets, unsafe metadata, missing authority, stale/conflicting prices, and unsafe/unavailable routes are excluded. Every conversion requires review and an explicit wallet transaction signature.

Can Afterlife sell a SELLABLE token?#

Yes. SELLABLE conversion is active in the Mainnet Beta through live Jupiter exact-in routing. The server refreshes the account and market evidence, simulates the transaction, verifies the signed message, and credits only the finalized reconciled USDC output.

Where does reclaimed value go?#

Burned token-account rent and Jupiter swap output settle to the configured Afterlife treasury shown by the product. Reconciled value becomes game credit under the documented formula and wagering target.

Can I receive real USDC?#

Yes. Mainnet Beta supports automatic Solana USDC payouts to the verified wallet after its wagering target is met. The current minimum request is $0.01; request, wallet-day, and lifetime-wallet cash-out are capped at $10, and platform payout is capped at $50 per UTC day.

What is the target RTP?#

The regular game targets 92%. The demo progressive allocates another 2%, giving the simulation a 94% combined target. RTP is a long-run expectation, not a session or player guarantee. See Fairness and RTP.

Is Afterlife provably fair?#

The current MVP is server-authoritative and uses cryptographic runtime randomness, replay-safe request IDs, published rules, and stored outcomes. It does not yet publish the commitment, seed, nonce, reveal, deterministic transcript, and verifier needed for a player-verifiably provably fair claim.

Does retrying a spin create a new outcome?#

No. The client reuses the request ID after a network interruption, and the server returns the stored result for that session and ID.

How are wallet tokens put on the reels?#

Up to three settled conversion positions can replace the display art and label for three logical symbol ranks. Mainnet uses the verified wallet's conversions; the demo uses fixtures. Personalization does not change probabilities or payout math.

What is the maximum win?#

The regular result—base lines, free spins, fixed jackpot wheel, and Collect 12—is capped at 2,000× the paid total bet. Mainnet reserves against that full exposure before accepting a real-value spin. The separate demo progressive is paid outside the regular cap.

What if I close the window after signing?#

Assume the transaction may have been submitted. Reconnect the same verified wallet so Afterlife can resume the durable plan. Do not create a duplicate because finalization is slow.

What is Lose to Earn?#

It is a future governance concept in which capped epoch net losses could create non-transferable, decaying participation weight from a fixed pool. It is not part of the current Mainnet Beta, is not redeemable or saleable, and is not a promise to recover losses. See Lose to Earn.

What responsible-play controls exist?#

The active beta uses 18+ messaging, a 1× wagering target, 0.10–1.00 bets, reserve enforcement, a $10 lifetime-wallet payout ceiling, a $50 platform-day ceiling, activity history, and emergency pause controls. It does not claim configurable self-exclusion or player-set loss/time limits; those are required before expanding the audience or financial envelope. See Responsible play.

What information does Afterlife store?#

The application stores session, wallet, conversion, game, ledger, payout, limit, and reconciliation records needed to operate the beta. It does not need a user's seed phrase or private key. See Security and privacy.

Has Afterlife been audited?#

No independent audit is claimed. Any future audit statement will identify the reviewer, scope, version, limitations, and date.
